Day One
Okay, so I'm not breaking any efficiency records yet, but I think I was reasonably productive. For the first time in... well, possibly ever, I actually ironed and put away all my clothes after doing laundry. And I did TWO loads -- not the usual barely-enough-for-a-week amount, but enough to last me a good while.
I also, at long last, brought the multiple bags of useless clothing that have been sitting in my trunk for months to the D.A.R.E. clothing drop box on Castle Heights and National. While I was at it, I excavated the trunk for the rest of the not-trunk-suitable items (mostly trash, also some shoes), so my trunk finally looks almost sort of like the way a trunk should look. And now I've typed "trunk" so many times that it's lost all meaning.
For dinner I actually "cooked," meaning I only partially used the microwave. I made whole wheat penne (accompanied by some four-cheese ravioli) with veggie meatballs and vodka sauce. I'm not going to attempt to count the calories in that, but I figure it's loaded with protein so I'm okay. Then I watched The Shield, went for a walk for about an hour, came home, watched American Casino, and now I think I might actually be going to bed.
Tomorrow: get the OUTSIDE of the car cleaned, start the long and strenuous room-cleaning process, and hopefully do some actual substantive writing. And play racquetball.
