Day 1
Well, I certainly called that one. This morning found me sitting at my computer, wearing clothes that desperately need to be laundered. The day looked promising -- I made a list of all the things I wanted to accomplish, and it was perfectly manageable. Then I saw my flatmate painting the kitchen, and next thing I know, I'm painting my door (both sides), the trim, and so on...
A couple of hours later, my door looked great, but any other surface looked dirty in comparison. I wanted to keep painting, but I somehow managed to stop myself. The whole day was like this. Every time I started on one thing, another one distracted one. Instead of spending 20 minutes working on the computer, and going on to stuff I actually HAD to do, I would spend two hours playing around with photoshop, and keep putting off (you guessed it) doing laundry.
I still haven't done it.
I finally went into town at almost 4 o'clock, and spent the evening hanging out with friends. Ahh the life of the unemployed. Goof off during the day, then meet up with working people and pretend that you need to unwind after your hard day by drinking a few glasses of wine.

Dude. Seriously? More bathing/laundering and less blogging about not bathing/laundering! Ew!
I resent that. I bathe; I just don't launder. Unlike some people, I don't have a washer in my house! Actually, my clothes are perfectly clean, except for the bicycle grease. Besides, why look tidy when you aren't going to the office?
