Day 58: Disappointment in the works!

Some minor drama with the company I interviewed with last week. They gave the position in the TV dept. to someone else. This was good. But then the HR woman says that the TV dept loves me and she wants to talk to me about another opportunity. I was prematurely hoping they wanted to take me on as a full-time TV pitch person. She promised to call me back yesterday and didn't. When I called her this morning, she told me that there's an opening in the Soundtracks dept. This would be another assistant spot, but it would be for a high-level exec. That sounds pretty cool. Granted, I haven't heard about the $$ yet...

I'm not supposed to hear from her until next week, so I will continue on my merry unemployed way, enjoying the freedom of unoccupied time and endless Seinfeld/Frasier/Simpsons reruns....
