Day Nine: The Day After Day Eight
With my room and most of the apartment looking pretty spotless, it was finally time to go do some writing. And by writing, I mean "giving the shower a good scrubbing so I don't have to keep the shower doors hermetically sealed whenever anyone comes over." I think it's fair to say that of all the rooms in a house/apartment, the bathroom is the hardest to keep clean. Which is unfortunate, because it's also the least fun to clean.
Anyway.
After the bathroom was done, I had to resolve a prescription issue with my doctor and RiteAid, which I would describe in more detail if it were at all interesting. That ate up a couple more hours, so by the time I headed over to the Beverly Hills Library, it was almost 3:30. And I hadn't had lunch, so of course I had to stop by Johnny Rockets for a veggie burger and shake en route. Then I got about an hour of writing done before I had to leave to catch the Academy screening of "King Arthur." (Good movie, plenty of arrows.)
But I did get a good 3 pages written on my Gilmore Girls script, and while I realize that's just 3 pages more than nothing, I think I'm on the right track.
