Day Forty-Three

So I got this thing in the mail from the unemployment department saying I have to go in for some job info session or whatever.  It says that failure to attend could jeopardize my unemployment pay.  I wonder if it would work to call them and say I can't go that day because I have a job interview.  They'd probably be happy.  Of course, being that it's on August 10, it would probably sound a little fishy if I called right away and said that.  What would really be good is if I actually had a job by then.   The UCLA people haven't called about the second interview, and I'm getting a little worried.
