Day Thirty-Five

Cranked out another 20 pages today.  The biggest downside to spending all day in Coffee Bean?  My clothes now smell like stale coffee.  (Well, at least I'm not writing in a cigar shop.)  The second biggest downside?  The music, which had seemed pretty cool at first, is now proving to be as repetitive as an adult contemporary radio station.  If I hear Sinatra singing "Something's Gotta Give" followed by INXS' "Not Enough Time" again, there's going to be some sort of severing of eardrums.  Then again, I suppose that could be a tactic used by Coffee Bean brass to prevent people from buying $5 worth of food and drink and then hanging around for 5-6 hours.  If that's the case, then corporate America is smarter than I thought.
