Day Fifty-Nine

I'm still not calling this the "employment blog," but I did collect $90 and answer some phones at Eti's shady financial law offices. (No, seriously. The building is in the shade. Behind some trees. Out of the direct sunlight. What did you think I meant?) I spent about 12% of the time answering the phone and the other 88% web-surfing, and gosh darn if that didn't make me feel a little nostalgic for my job at USA.

After that, Eti and Randy and I had a cheap Mexican dinner (during which we watched some of the ultra-bizarre Olympic opening ceremonies) and then Eti and I watched Kissing Jessica Stein, which was really a genuinely good movie. It's definitely going on the official "romantic comedies I'll admit to liking" list, where it joins privileged company like Four Weddings and a Funeral, As Good as it Gets, and Natural Born Killers. What? Oh. Well, I guess As Good as it Gets is more of a character-driven drama with romantic elements than a flat-out romantic comedy. But you get my meaning.
