Temporary Farewell

In a sick and unexpected twist of fate, I did not get fired today. Instead, I got re-focused. My boss went on this whole tirade about not wanting to let me go because I am valuable to the company. I was floored. He knows that eventually I will transition out, and he offered me a project which I can do from home with the intention of this being my final hurrah. So, this means: less work, same money, flexible hours, work from home, plenty of opportunity to write my book and study for GMAT.

Reluctantly, I must bid adieu to the Unemployment Blog for now....but every time I sit before my iBook at home, I shall hear its name in the Apple startup-sound...."Unemployment Blog...."
