I am like so unemployed!!!
I'm done! Oh Unemployment Blog! I've missed you! I have to say that aside from the whole not getting a check anymore thing, unemployment is pretty great. Today I went to Trader's Joe right when it opened. After being gone from the house for a month, I had to seriously re-stock. Also I plan to cook a lot more now that I'll be spending more time at home. So I bought one of everything in the store and came home. I put all the groceries away, cooked some pasta, got re-acquainted with TiVo, and now it's now.
I'm planning for a pretty busy unemployment. I'm taking 2 math classes, studying for the GMAT, starting a company, and writing a book. Hopefully the company will take off and I'll begin to see some money coming in around January. That would rock. Otherwise, I've saved up enough to be able to float for a while. But if by December or January there is absolutely no money coming in, then I'll start looking for a job or something. That's the plan.
Other than that, I hope to fulfill Nick's prophecy of always having a clean house and being able to go to Trader Joe's anytime I want. And if the company fails, then I hope to wake up in a few months with a lovely dream job somewhere groovy, as per Nick's other prophecy.
Now for some GMAT studying...

Um... you plan to cook a lot more? You already cook everything imaginable. When I said to myself "I'm going to cook a lot more," I was thinking of you. What, are you now going to cook your own Tivo remote and iPod headphones? Are you going to cook yourself a new car?
Oooh not a bad idea!
Hey my mom washed Willis while I was gone and now I can barely recognize him. He's got this bluish tint which I guess had previously been enshrouded in bird poop and freeway fodder. Cool, huh?
Ok first of all, after having done the unemployment thing, I can definitively tell you that your house will NOT always be clean. You'll cook more, definitely, but the house will NOT always be clean. There are better things to do with free time than always cleaning. It gets tedious.
