We meet again, Unemployment Blog...

Three years ago, it was July, I had been freshly laid off from a sexy music licensing job, I was moving house, and I barely had time to say "mid-day Ikea trip" before I landed in an even sexier music licensing job. This time will be different. Because this time, it's July, I'm moving house, and I'm looking for a sexy music licensing job. Obviously.

Actually, this time will be different because I'm not coming to the job market from another job. Instead, I'm a freshly-minted MBA who's rocking $100K in educational loan debt and and is completely disoriented to work life after spending two years theorizing and modeling and analyzing cases. If that's not awesome enough, I've spent the last two years carefully nurturing an LA music tech network - only to have to move to Boston. So for the next few weeks/months/hopefully not years, I will once again turn to the faithful Unemployment Blog for some structure in my permanent weekends. Here goes.

Day 1
Spent three hours on the hunt this morning. So far, nothing really matches my music-tech/music licensing background. Time to stop staring at my screen, do some packing, and mayhaps jump on my bike for a bit.

Soooo....what do unemployed people eat for lunch?
