Day 2: Way Too Productive
I was pleasantly woken up this morning with a phone call from a CEO of a music-tech company I've been trying to chase down! He was very cool and offered to hook me up with the CEO of another music-tech company I've been trying to chase down. Thus, I spent the next 8 hours writing up a cover letter. Crazy how you never know how you will spend your day. I thought today was gonna be a bike ride, a farmer's market, some packing, and a buncha moping. Well, I did get to the farmer's market. Aaaand maybe a little moping.
However, all this job-hunting activity was met with much scorn from my unemployment mentor, Nick(whom, I might add, hasn't been unemployed since 2005! What kind of mentor is that! I've been unemployed like 3 times since then!). Apparently, applying to one job per day is too productive. So he forced me to leave the house and meet him at the lunch truck on Sawtelle. Then I came back, spent some more time on the cover letter, then sent it off! I promise to spend the next 8 days compulsively checking my email for a response.
Now it's time to shut this thing down, make some fudz, and loaf in front of the TV before both it and the couch are in a box, on their way to Boston.
